Umm, right. I have a pretty low opinion of all politicians, Democratic or Republicans. I tend to have a lower opinion of the which ever party is in power, but that usually is their own fault. The PiP tends to be the one voting pork barrel projects and lining the pockets of their favored groups.

I actually approve of filibusters. Filibusters means they, by definition, aren't doing anything. That almost always is a good thing...

As far as a 60 senator majority, maybe. The Republicans also might lose control of the Senate. Apparently some Republican senators are in trouble over their positions on Shiavo and privatization. The nuclear option might push some more over the edge. Given the poll data on the issue, people are getting pissed over the extremism.
