True. But it is something that theologians discuss. My pastor was certainly aware of at least some of the issues. I strongly suspect the Catholic priest would also be familiar with the issue. The Protestant minister is more iffy, not all branches of Protestantism require much in the way of training to become a minister. So whether or not lay people commonly discuss the issue is irrelevant.
