"around a long time" doesn't mean "is common. Most Christians don't think about the question much. Most non-Christians don't either. That's exactly the point. People don't think about it because they had no idea there was a credibility problem. Its amazing that this information isn't more well known. Every person I have mentioned it to was surprised if not shocked. That's 10 to 15 educated, fairly well informed people who had no idea. Why is this discussion not more prevalent? Its a big issue. I suspect ducking the question like I saw on CNN is SOP for religious leaders........the reason being because their position in the argument is not very defensible. ted
