I've never seen the government turn down a chance to make some coin on 220 million in sales. I agree they are interested in doing this for profit. Still, they make some statements that this will "help" with the budget/deficit. Hmmm, maybe, but it seems to me that this effort is like putting a band-aid on a pinprick from a splinter, while the jugular is spraying like a garden hose.

The cost of the paperwork and the congressmen and their aids time probably ate up most of the profit from the sale of gold coins. Just sounds like the regular bs from our useless and ineffective government.
