VANCOUVER, Apr 27, 2005 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX) --
Adanac Moly Corp. (AUA:TSX.V) reports the Company has assembled a socioeconomic and environmental team to streamline their permitting and communication with project stakeholders. Klohn Crippen were contracted in January 2005 to work on the environmental and socioeconomic issues, as well Adanac has hired Frank Halliday and Jon Belheumer, Ph.D., to its staff to directly deal with indigenous and Atlin area stakeholders and their concerns on behalf of the Company.

Frank Halliday joins Adanac Moly Corp. from the oil and gas industry in northeast BC where he has called home for over twenty years. During his last eight years, he has dealt with hundreds of projects each year involved in specialized stakeholder relations, regulatory and permitting, and environmental/socioeconomic planning for major oil and gas corporations. Frank has significant experience mitigating numerous traditional concerns with regards to all regions of Treaty 8, including the different Chiefs and Councils.

Jon Belheumer, Ph.D., is well known in the indigenous and mining communities as the person responsible for resolving the stalemate between Wheaton River Minerals', Golden Bear and the First Nations. With a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), his Ojibway and Cree background gives him first-hand knowledge of the Aboriginal experience, lending him a deeper understanding of issues, which Aboriginals face in the workplace and in society today. Jon is also an accomplished writer, publisher and has been a director for the Native Journal, Native Woman's Digest and the New Breed Magazines. He currently serves as Communications Director for the Aboriginal Miners and Prospectors Association.

Both gentlemen have extensive experience managing relationships with the First Nations, Stakeholders and Government Communities and as such are considered to be an asset to the management of Adanac Moly Corp. and the advancement of the Ruby Creek Molybdenum Project through permitting and feasibility.
