We are doing precisely that: Pursuing a policy of nonparticipation in international political relations -- it is the cornerstone of unilateralism to use our military power rather than participation in international political relations in pursuit of our goals. It is reflected in everything we do -- and don't do. And it is reflected in our choice of representatives for organizations where we still have some nominal participation -- like sending Bolton to the UN to shove his fist into the institution's face.
