The only difference between Communism and Fascism is that in Communism the Party Elite are physically in control and manage all the State Run Businesses. In fascism, the fascist leaders let others physically run and control large privately owned businesses yet retain just about all the same Macro level controls over business. IMO, these two systems are so similar as to be nearly indistinguishable.

I think people in politcal discussions are too concerned over whether the totalitarian system will be Communism or Fascism being afraid of one end of the spectrum but not the other. People should be highly afraid of BOTH ends of the spectrum.
