If Kerry had voted against the war, Bush would lie and say he's on the side of terrorism. But that's not why Kerry voted the way he did. He really did want Saddam disarmed. He just didn't want it done the way Bush did it. SLoppy, dishonest and all alone.

Kerry could have voted against the war and explained exactly why he did so. He got scared of being branded as "unpatriotic" and went with the flow.

Sadly, the young Kerry had so much courage. The older version turned out to be so lacking.
