Don't ask these folks to understand their "faith", it's enough that it's "faith". And if you are not with them you are against them. Ethics, morals; they are not the issue. It's all about "faith". It's funny, I personally know some folks that are Christian "missionaries", that spend every cent they earn or can beg to help the people that are living in unbelievable poverty. They have not a thought for themselves, they live what Jesus taught. They are going the Lord's work. I donate to those folks when I can. On the other hand you have the folks that talk a good game, but their only concern is political. They don't care about what Jesus taught... I suspect if there is a Jesus Son of God he hates that second group worse than he hates the unbelievers. I imagine that he loves the people that may not believe, but are helping those that are less fortunate. At least that's the way that I read the Bible and Christianity. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe Christ was all about partisan politics. John
