LOLOL Hey don't you think you are being a bit harsh on Raymond? I can't for the life of me understand why people in the USA glorify military types the way they do.
Is it the constant diet of violent videos and video games these kids are brought up on that has rotted their brains so that they are useless individuals in Gods eyes so that they are sentenced to the killing fields? Is it really something horrible for someone like Raymond to feel that soldiers are the lowest common denominator in any society, save for the politicians that sacrifice them for spurious ideals or corrupt agendas? Everyone on this planet has a responsibility to his creator and if one chooses to do evil by becoming a professional killing machine then he cannot expect that God would view him as anything but a person who may have had some potential to be a useful human being at one point but who has decided to ruin his life ad the lives of others and therefore be looked on by God as just plain refuse.
I don't think a person should be placed in prison for disagreeing with their own government when it is now obvious that the majority of Americans now see Bush as someone who is deceptive and uneducated who is carrying out the agendas of Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz no matter how many innocent lives he takes.
It's an uneducated unintelligent person that can't see that a person who becomes a mercenary for the US government is ALSO someone who has no education, too much testosterone and no real brains at all so it is hardly something to mourn when these damn fools get their pea sized brains blown out.
It reminds me of a song from the '60s by Buffy Saint Marie and no truer words were ever spoken.

I wrote "Universal Soldier" in the basement of The Purple Onion coffee house in Toronto in the early sixties. It's about individual responsibility for war and how the old feudal thinking kills us all. Donovan had a hit with it in 1965.
He's five feet two and he's six feet four
He fights with missiles and with spears
He's all of 31 and he's only 17
He's been a soldier for a thousand years
He's a Catholic, a Hindu, an athiest, a Jain,
a Buddhist and a Baptist and a Jew
and he knows he shouldn't kill
and he knows he always will
kill you for me my friend and me for you
And he's fighting for Canada,
he's fighting for France,
he's fighting for the USA,
and he's fighting for the Russians
and he's fighting for Japan,
and he thinks we'll put an end to war this way
And he's fighting for Democracy
and fighting for the Reds
He says it's for the peace of all
He's the one who must decide
who's to live and who's to die
and he never sees the writing on the walls
But without him how would Hitler have
condemned him at Dachau
Without him Caesar would have stood alone
He's the one who gives his body
as a weapon to a war
and without him all this killing can't go on

really is to blame
His orders come from far away no more
They come from him, and you, and me
and brothers can't you see
this is not the way we put an end to war.
