Such a tortuous rumination. Now let me think: Am I good because I'm good or because I'm good? Do I action the good or does the good action me? Why am I good? Am I really? Will I go to Heaven or to Hell? Was this determined before my birth, after my birth, or after my life? Am I good because I found Christ or because Christ found me? What is good to eat? Is it salmon or lettuce? Will I go to heaven or to Hell? Am I good? Am I infused or am I infatuated? Will I go to Heaven or to Hell? Is it something I did or didn't do? Is Christ looking for me or am I looking for Christ or has my address been written on my shipping crate before I was born. Does God want me to be a Catholic or a Protestant? Why won't God pin me in the rocks and show me His hind parts as He so honored poor Moses? Why won't He yammer with me with a burning bush? And how will I know that the burning bush is not Satan himself--or a mischievous Protestant? Do I wait for God or does God wait for me? Am I good? Am I? Am? Ommmmm...
