I can tell you this. I know many engineers hat were hired around 2000 when the stock was ~$65. Their options are never going to be in the money. Intel did do a one time additional grant, not a reprice. If hired after x date, then some you receiced additional options at current price, in some % of the options granted on acetain date. Not a big grant, but it helped with compensation that would be zero. BTW those grants are underwater too.
