Camilla Parker Bowles has never done a useful thing in her life for society (well, except to decorate, if that is the word, high society functions). The upper class granddaughter of a baronet, she has had the typical horsey, outdoorsy life of a social ornament. At least Pamela Anderson is attempting to do good (as she sees it) in the world. She works actively with a liver charity as well as with PETA. Speaking of Rottweilers, I was talking with my neighbor last Sunday about them. She has five of them, ranging from six months to ten years of age. They are show dogs. I was surprised to find out during my discussion with her that she must put them all in separate rooms and shut the doors whenever she goes out, because otherwise they might fight and kill each other. The puppy in particular is adorable, sweet and friendly, and in general they are nice dogs. They enjoy being petted when I run into them while they are out exercising. But personally, I am glad I chose dogs from breeds that are basically friendly and do not have that potential for violence with their own family members.
