What about crystallization for example?
Yes, God's talent is endless. What about the human brain? Amazing...
I'm not following you here. Are you saying God is involved with each crystallization event, thus making order from disorder, or is your view that God set up all the rules such that crystallization can happen, as well as life. If your view is the latter, you don't necessarily have a problem with evolution. That is my point. The laws of physics & chemistry allow evolution just as they allow crystallization. Fundamentalist Christians tend to accept modern physics & chemistry, but not modern biology. This is a shame.
You're right because you think everyone that disagrees with you is wrong? No, wait, it's because the people that are right have forced you into your wrong positiion?
Well, logically if I'm right, those that take an opposite view must be wrong. But that is not the cause of course. The reason I think fundamentalists need to come to terms with evolution, is that they have chosen a very poor time to start pushing creationism again. The reason it is being pushed is the fact that conservatives have gained significant political power, and are seeking to push conservative ideas. Unfortunately, this has coincided with the explosion in biodata, which will nail the coffin of creationism shut. AFAIK, must fundamentalist are totally oblivious to this fact, so it will come as quite a shock. Faith will sustain ignorance for a few more decades in this area no doubt, but it will fall at last. |
