Don't they sew then back up after doing the autopsy? I would hope so. I have read about hospitals harvesting eyes without the family's permission and a law suit was filed. The family could tell they did not look right at the viewing and investigated into it and found the eyes missing and who removed them. Never read where they recovered anything though.
