Bill, you have apparently missed the support for the assertion which I posted. I spent a lot of time finding exactly the kind of support I thought a discerning connoisseur of numbers like you would demand, and then this morning you accost me with anecdotes! Well, I must say I am surprised.
Since I supported my proposition, and you can't, I would suggest that you are trying to be nasty so I won't notice that you 1. missed the support I posted and 2. posted no support for your equally strong position that Pamela isn't cool, save for two anecdotes, and I already had anecdotes, but you said they weren't good enough. You started the support business, not me. So now you probably ought to acknowledge that either 1. you were wrong in demanding that every assertion be backed up by a link, or 2. that you did not back up your assertion with a link and thus are in the weak position you attacked me for, or 3. that you are wildly inconsistent because you just wanted to argue, and you didn't really care about people supporting their assertions.
This isn't about fighting Bill, this is about me conforming to the game as you set up, and now you want to change the rules (or flip the board in the air and stomp off home, which is fine). Ok, you made an issue of my students saying something, so now you need to provide a link to back up what you say your 2 teens said, if you can. Know what I mean? |
