"only 50% ...have had votes." Really? Well, Bush is only 100 days into his second term. Hardly fair to compare a FOUR YEAR record to a full two term record. (Give it time... so you aren't comparing different baselines.) If you compare the first Bush term to the first Clinton term (a favorable comparision for you, I believe, because Clinton had even fewer nominees confirmed in his second term), I believe the statistics are nearly identical --- with a slight edge to Bush, well over 90% confirmation success. "Never in the history of the Republic have filibusters been used to prevent a vote on nominees." Er... that's just not true.
