Get real. Everyone knows there is outsourcing. Why pretend? Even the best trained person in english from India has a slight accent.

I have hired programmers of Indian origin who have worse accents than the call center agents in India. And they attend high level meetings in USA. And work for the best companies. Talk to the man on the street in New York city and you will have difficult time finding the perfect accent. Does that stop them from doing their job?

I saw Ismail Merchant (of the Merchant Ivory fame) on a BBC program. Even after staying 50 years outside India, he still retains some of his Indian accent.
