I made an assertion, and I did back it up. You do not like the way I backed it up, which is a different kettle of fish. I have this suspicion that if I had said what you said about 30 something characters, you would be arguing THAT with me. That is my opinion.

I understand that you wish to withdraw your assertion about 30 something characters and make it in to an "opinion" now- so you don't need to back it up. I don't expect you to back up an opinion. I accept that you no longer wish to assert that 30 something cartoon characters (whoever they are) are not considered "cool" by teens, but merely have the opinion that this is so. I don't agree with you, but I accept that is your opinion. I don't wish to withdraw my assertion about Pamela. :-)
