I hope they find a new path to follow, where the personal car is not the ultimate goal... I was just reading how Dean Kamen wants his Segway to be the method of transportation over in China and the rest of Asia. There is an interesting bit about him (and a bunch of other inventors) in this book I'm currently reading: amazon.com -Clappernicus
