good grief...no wonder the sector continues to be weak, the probability of a gold sell-off keeps increasing. with no particularly noteworthy progress price-wise, the speculator net long position is right back at its recent highs.
the stocks are already discounting the coming decline of course, but it remains to be seen if they can actually stomach it once it happens. the danger is that they will then begin to discount an even bigger decline
