I, for one, will never vote for another GOPer as long as I live.
Never is a very long time. As long as the Democrats are mostly immoral people. I am unlikely to vote for any. That condition has been in place as long as I have been voting and is in place now. When you have to hang your hat on people like Tom Daschle (oops, defeated) Teddy Kennedy (oops defeated in his bid for the Presidency), Nancy Pelosi, Robert KKK Byrd, Clinton, wife of Clinton, George Soros, Michael Moore, Jim McDermott, Harry Reid, Chuch Schumer, Al Gore, John Kerry and a whole host of other immoral sickos that I do not have time to mention, you support the party of immorality.
In past posts, you have spoken highly of both. What is one to believe?
They are people whom the left has chosen to attack. The left is attacking Tom DeLay for the same things that they are guilty of. Their DemoLib FMSM allies have picked up the ball and are ignoring Democrats with much worse problems than Tom DeLay. How many FMSM stories have run about the ethics committee's failure to act against Jim McDermott?
Tom DeLay's biggest problem is that he is effective. Democrats have marked him for the same Democrat whining / Media whipping they unfairly assaulted Newt Ginrich with.
I have watched her be over-the-top-rude from the get go even when everyone else is trying to be cordial.
Your definition of cordial must be different than mine. I consider interrupting repeatedly to be rude. Of course, you probably saw her in a hostile venue, and that might be different than a neutral one.
"If Harry Reid is arranging bribes to be paid to his son, it is wrong. If Jim McDeromott is illegally releasing tapes to the media, it is wrong (and the courts convictd him of it). If Bill Clinton is raping women, attempting to rape other women, lying under oath, and everything else he did, it is wrong. If Bob Packwood is doing the same kind of stuff as Clinton (except lying under oath) it is wrong."
There is GOP wrong and the rest of the world's wrong. Don't confuse the former with reality.
I don't confuse them. When I see you criticize people equally regardless of party, then you will gain credibility. IMHO your comments sometimes sound like you confuse Democrat/FMSM spin with reality.
"If any of those people are found quilty as charged, then I am all for it. However, in the 5 years since I've watched the political scene more closely, it seems the GOP is the party with the most perpetrators of criminal activity.
Clinton was convicted."
He was convicted of nothing. He was impeached and his law license pulled.
If everyone lied under oath like Clinton did, there would be no justice. Civilization would collapse when the court system could not convict anyone. Truth in testimony is the cornerstone of our society. It is so serious that courts require the testifier to swear an oath to God. When you remove the cornerstone, the building collapses
Clinton was more than a sicko, he was the cause of the Democrat party be identified as the immoral party they are.
"You defended him."
I defend him because I thought the GOP's accusations were spurious and silly.
Destruction of the court system is not a small thing. You may view the laws as silly. Without a functioning legal system we will collapse into anarchy. There is nothing silly about that. The last functioning anarchy was Somollia in the 90's.
"Tom DeLay has not been convicted yet you ave attacked him as if he were guilty."
I attack Tom Delay not because of his illegal activities [although they suck] but because of his arrogance and misuse of power.
Yet you do not attack Democrats who are worse. Nine of the top ten trip recipients are Democrats. If you are attacking DeLay for paying his wife and daughter then you may wish to attack Jesse Jackson Jr., Zoe Lofgren, Richard Pembro, to name a few. if you are attacking DeLay for financing state races, then you may wish to attack Hillary Clinton for the same practice. Yet, you never attack any Democrat, only Republicans.
Its too bad you think she has a place in the public forum. Frankly, she does nothing to further the cause of the right. In fact, she diminishes it. At some point in the future, the worm will turn and the right's causes will be in the descendant. At that time, all the chits accumulated due to the Coulters and Hannitys of the GOP world will come due. And you all will pay a very steep price. Mark my words. The hate engendered by Couler, Hannity, Rush etc has left its mark. I, for one, will never vote for another GOPer as long as I live.
As I said above, never is a very long time. The hate engendered by the New York Times , ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, CNN, LA Times to name a few has created the need for non-liberal news. Out of the ashes of those Phoenixes were created Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, a whole host of other centrist sources, and a handful of rightist ones. That you hate the idea of non liberals having a voice says much.
Intolerance has no place in the Republican party. |
