I am learning a lot from you guys, my redneck friend bought a new monte carlo from a home equity line he took out on his trailer - he used the extra money to buy computer stuff at best buy - 30 inch monitors - he has 8 citi credit cards he funded his lifestyle on too - he has parked the monte carlo cause his gas bills are getting too high and driving his old beatup chevette again - I told him to sell the new monte carlo before it loses more value - but he said he can't afford to take the loss - he has said he will never go in best buy again - and is going to try and bankrupt before the 180 days pass - but I think he is well under the minimum income requirements for GA so he could ride it awhile - he doesn't know that and the bankruptcy attorney wants to make some fees - so he isn't listening to me - just the lawyer.

So if we are looking at shorts - it seems to me the best buy they just built in his redneck town is going to be the biggest business to take a quick loss since GM already has fallen. THey also opened some upscale drive thru ice cream and coffee shops that are probably going to tank in that south georgia town - but people will still buy thier walmart and target and harveys supermarkets. Books a million in that town seems to be doing poorly too - so to look at an ETF - is there any that overweight on best buys or circuit citys? Tech retail stores whose products are all made in china are going to tank as a sector right? Best buy, circuit city, CompUSA, staples, Office depot, Office max - I will look at them more this week. if you go to slickdeals.net and check out the great prices you can get on some of this high end tech gear - and remember the report yesterday said inventory levels were HIGH in this country - I think they will have a lot of junk they can't sell now.

Here was another on slickdeals - they are GIVING money if you will take a credit card now:

Seems like a good deal!
Apply for this credit card and get $150 Visa GC.
promo.schwabon.com

Apply before May 15, 2005. Call 1-866-724-9223 and mention priority code CGE4, or apply online for an instant decision.

I also saw on slickdeals that citibank will give you some free money too - like 200 bucks if you will open a 1500 account with them and pay 2 bills - crazy!!
