Gas is 40% more expensive than it was a year ago.

Consumer confidence down. Durable goods orders down. Deficits as far as the eye can see. Debt climbing towards $8 TRILLION. Outsourcing of professional jobs really beginning to show up. GM debt headed toward junk status. So fossil fuel dependent that we're arguing with caribbou for 6 months worth to sell to South America.

If this is Great in the rightwing vocabulary, no wonder they have such low expectations for Shrub.
