I am so sick of out elected officials just taking advantage of everything that they consider just common place courtesies.
If the ordinary citizen would do those same things they would be considered outrageous.. In Congress isn't like if you do it I am entitled. Where is their sense of right and wrong.
Accepting money from lobbyists to me is akin to accepting bribes.. What's the difference...

AND whose bribe acceptance is the biggest.. and most outrageous.
Nancy Pelosi is pointed out as an example of doing the same thing DeLay did but the difference in the amount of money laid is substantial. It's not tit for tat.

When the American citizenry gets enraged enough to put an end to the graft,bribes corruption and realizes that the government is not run for their interests but for the interests of the lobbyist and the money they use to extort promises from the officials who are supposedly representing us, then maybe it will stop.

DeLay isn't the only one. All of them who are compromising their integrity(if they have any) should be admonished.IMO
