I’ve never tried to compare the two; in fact I have never tracked the USPIX until Gersh posted it here. The chart below is a one year comparative chart of the NASDAQ vs. the USPIX: finance.yahoo.com As you can see there are some fairly wild and differing swings between the two. They seem to track in opposite directions much like the VIX and the QQQQ do.
