You're trying to distract from Delay's corruption and Bush's failures. That is, you don't want people to look at what's happening now, so you point to 30-55 years ago and say "look at that democrat scandal way back then!) Well no one cares what happened in 1970 anymore. And besides, the Republicans had even more scandals in the 70's. Remember Watergate?

Teddy Kennedy is not the one on trial here, it's (about to be) Tom DElay.
