The rightwing is allied with many cults. Some of the evangelical churches are also brainwashed cults predicting apocalypse. The Moonies are also a weird bunch. Brainwashing is used. The Washington Times is Moon's gift to the American rightwing. I'm sure it's also used to lobby for rightwing Korean causes.

What's particularly scary is that some rightwing religious cults believe Iraq (Babylon) is a necessary first battle before Armageddon, where they all fight it out for Jerusalem in Israel. And the last thing we need is more violence in the middle easy. In fact, these Christians sound very much like Jihadists.
