Could we perhaps talk about one subject at a time, Coug? It just seems like piling on to link someone's perceived beliefs about the war in Iraq to another subject entirely, which as I understand it is whether it is ethical for adventuresome people to risk death fulfilling their own dreams when they have young families with small children. On that subject, I agree with ManyMoose. I think it is very selfish. Having children is a choice. If being adventurous is so crucial to someone's identity, perhaps they could choose that instead of having children, not in addition to it.

If you want to talk about the Iraq war that's fine, but I think there might be more clarity if we did so separately. Certainly it is a big enough subject to have on its own. The war certainly doesn't seem to be going very well the last few days, and yet it has sort of dropped from the front pages for the most part, and I think that is a shame.
