As far as the CA Marijuana initiative: How big a D* do you think GWB or Rehnquist give about CA? You can pass all the votes legalizing pot in this state you want. It is STILL illegal under federal law. The more you flout the stuff, the harder the feds will crack down- -like it or not. They have to to keep the movement from spreading. If GWB threatened to nuke CA, it wouldn't vote for him. Welcome to real-world politics.
