That's all changing, I'm sure. "Could the header and all on every page be somehow shortened, so that when the post loads you don't have to scroll to see the topmost few lines, at least?" The 'blueprint' has a more vertically efficient top strap than the older version.

And if you'd get rid of that 15-year old 640x480 monitor ... <vbg>
