MH/Ni Batteries With Chinese Brand Have Good Performances

(Apr.28,2005)

The Chinese Association of Battery Industry released ¡°Measuring Results for Some MH/Ni Batteries Sampled From Market in 2005¡± in Beijing on April 25, which shows that MH/Ni batteries with Chinese brand have the same properties and qualities as those with foreign brand, even some better than foreign.
In the past, secondary MH/Ni batteries in high-end applications were monopolized by foreign brands such as Chaoba, Sony, Panasonic, Sanyo, etc in Chinese market. Now some changes are happening. The results indicates that MH/Ni batteries¡¯ qualities with Pinsheng brand, Ci Shidai brand and other Chinese brands are as good as foreign brands and only Chinese brands are not more famous than foreign brands. Mr. Cao Guoqing, vice secretary-general of the Chinese Association of Battery Industry, thinks that many Chinese battery brands will grow up in Chinese and the world markets irresistibly with rapid development of MH/Ni batteries made in China.
