[Clues]

<<<Nobody in this industry has a clue about February 1998.>>>

Assuming no Apocalypse, the industry probably has a clue, but I would imagine the Street doesn't.

Too many corporations are betting too much money for them not to have some idea where the sector is headed. I'm not talking stock price but development of ADSL.

As I've said many times --- and as we've discussed off line --- there are simply too many indicators to be able to deny the need for bandwidth, and for ADSL, over the next few years. If it's an interim solution, it's one that will serve us until the next technology is ready --- perhaps VDSL or something not yet invented.

If you can fit it into your schedule, go to the Salomon conference and hear Texas Instruments. You know how the Michelin Guides rate restaurants???? Well, TI is "worth a journey."

Nice chatting --

Pat
