My Russian neighbor is a long-haul truck driver. His wife teaches school. They have very nice children.

My daughter taught at a charter school for Russian immigrant children. The biggest problem was the Russian administration did not understand how a business should run in our country, so they made a lot of mistakes.

I know about Russian food. When I gave a dozen or so computers to the charter school they had a little party. It was very tasty food. The highlight was a giant loaf of bread decorated with lovely clusters of grapes etched into the crust.

I told stories to my daughter's class. When they said "The Pledge of Allegiance," tears came into my eyes.

I think our immigration policy should make sure we don't import a criminal element, no matter what the country of origin. I've heard the Russian mafia can be pretty sophisticated and dangerous.
