JK,

By Death Cross or Evening Doji Star I think you are referring to Friday's candlestick:

stockcharts.com[h,a]daclyyay[da][pb50!b200!f][vc60][iLk12!Li14,3]&pref=G

When that formation is found at the top of an up-trend it is referred to as the cross of death and more than likely marks a short term top.

When it is formed on a short term down trend as in the case of Friday (Morning Doji Star or Harami Cross) it normally marks a short term bottom and points to a reversal so we should see a new up trend being born and a continuation of the up-trend on Monday.
