OK, so you're not prepared to buy my principled argument. How about a pragmatic argument. That "basic" insurance that the Swiss have costs what? A few thousand a year? Rich just posted that it sounds like our "manor medical" and that costs thousands. So, you propose to make people who won't or can't pay for their sniffles buy one? And that will work?
