Do you know how much salary per year, and then how much retirement pay a Congressperson receives who works for two years, and then is defeated....????

I replied to this yesterday with a link to some general info on congressional pensions which indicated that two years isn't enough for vesting in the system. To follow up, a one term senator, six years of service, would get about $10K annual deferred annuity beginning at the age of 62. It's either 1 or 1.1 percent of salary for each year of service.
