Well, yes, I am aware of that argument as well. But in countries with tighter gun regulation, idiots don't die that way so often. Or children playing with their parents' guns.

Do you believe everyone who wants a handgun should have one, and do you support the Florida idea that you can shoot anyone who sort of looks menacing?

Or do you live out in the country and just believe in having them for self-protection?

I think personally there is a difference between having almost everyone armed to the teeth in cities and the right to protect yourself out in the country where police response is slow or nonexistent.
