Idiots may not die that way where there is regulation, but idiots will find a way to kill themselves is my premise. Not intentionally I might add it's just a byproduct of being a reckless idiot.

I believe any law abiding citizen that wants a handgun should be able to own one. A gun is a tool and isn't the problem and never will be IMO.

do you support the Florida idea that you can shoot anyone who sort of looks menacing?

Sounds like more hyperbole to me. I have no idea what FL's gun laws are but I doubt you can shoot a person anywhere on this planet just because you think they look menacing.

I live in a city now of 65K but you must remember in my area I would guess gun ownership is probably 75+%. I'm guessing but I'm not sure that number is too high. Don't have much for shootings either. Perhaps a higher ownership is a good thing?

I don't own a gun for self protection. I own maybe 18 guns, 3 of which are handguns and I have I'm sure over 5,000 round of ammo, but none of them are for my personal protection though they certainly could be used that way if the need arises. And I can promise you I would use them if I had too. But since I'm pretty well trained for the use of deadly force it would have to be a life threatening situation before I would even consider it. Someone wants my wallet, it's all theirs even if I was packing as long as I didn't think it would progress beyond that.

You know concealed carry is much different from not concealed. WI does not have a right to carry law though that means the right to carry concealed. I can walk down the road with a side arm in a shoulder holster loaded that is in plain view though.

You folks on the west coast truly live in a different world then I live in. I'm not saying this to be nasty, it's just true. It is likely true of folks that live on either coast versus the rest of us. Hell we know that to be true as we GWB again:)

You watch a PETA movie and determine that I shouldn't eat chicken. I watched that movie by the way. I buy my chickens from some Amish down the road that are free range organically grown. I've never seen a place like that movie showed and I've grown and eaten meat all my life.

I think factory farms are raising the food you big city folks need, the rest of us get it from our neighbors:)

I should stop babbling and go pour another drink. I think I'm moments away from being grandpa again. Oldest is now at 9 cm's and baby has turned the proper way so I would expect any moment now it should happen.
