Did you get married in 1981 too? We will be having our 25th next year- you too right? How exciting! But I'm sorry you are stuck at home. We ate at the French Laundry today- and I have to say, it does deserve to be the best restaurant in the world, or one of them, at the very least. I've never seen such amazing food. I still like Chez Panisse best, because it has exactly the style of food I like, and it's a fantastic value, and it's close, but my goodness, I'm glad to have been able to eat at the Laundry. They spilled water on us, so we even got two free glasses of fabulous champagne. They were so upset- I felt really sorry for them. It's not like it upset us. It's not every couple that can say one of their servers spilled water on them in the best restaurant in the world :-) I took pictures of all the food we ate, so that we can share our food porn.
