And people didn't have the freedom to be the people they wanted to be. Of course that CAN be negative, if moms want to be career women, and no one wants to stay home with the kids, but couples still have kids, and farm them out for someone else to care for. So on the one hand, it's great to live now, but on the other, there are some problem areas it would be nice to focus on.
