Except, you are EXCLUDING the number of Clinton nominees who *did not even receive a HEARING* by the Senate Committee... which of course means that they *never had a recorded vote*, which means they don't show up in you SELECTIVE FIGURE (where you are only counting recorded committee votes). :)

Look at the list of total number of nominees sent over, vs. total number approved, and you will straight-away see that the Clinton and Bush II success ratios are fairly similar --- however with Bush II being MORE SUCCESSFUL thus far.
