The federal court that convicted Democrat Representative McDermott apparently did not sentence him to jail time. I suspect that this was not a criminal case, but a civil (uncivil :-)) one. I thought jail time was only a result of a criminal case.

The House ethics committee can recommend that the House of Representatives can evict the unethical McDermott. Do you think that partisan Democrats have that much honor?
