I agree with that, in principle, (although --- from the poll results --- clear majorities of the American public seem to disagree).

But, it's way down on my list (because it's such *small bucks*) for cutting wasteful government spending, and the size of government.

I could probably name a hundred federal programs that *each* spend more taxpayer money and, in my opinion, are unnecessary.

(PS --- just a thought, an aside --- isn't the annual federal PBS funding roughly equivalent to the amount Bush has funded his 'faith-based program' with?????)
