White House's Andy Card: "No Merit" in Delay Accusations

WASHINGTON (Reuters) ...White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card said it was "a matter for the House to consider" whether DeLay violated any House rules, he added: "We have no reason to believe that they (the rules) haven't been followed."

The charges against Delay are, indeed, baseless...and more than that, they are a sick attempt by Democrats to undo the results of last year's election by means of political chicanery. The defense of Tom Delay, the confirmation of John Bolton, and the end of the filibuster are all "line in the sand" issues for Republicans; we cannot allow the Democrat's to rob us of the fruits of our hard-won victory last year...and any retreat on any of these issues would allow just that.

Let's get into this fight with gusto, knowing that we have right and truth on our side. Hit back, often and hard; the Democrats really can't take the heat because they've no truth or justice on their side.
