Actually gold is where his view probably comes the closest but here is a man bitching about hyper-inflation with the CPI at 3% or whwtever. OK so it is a lie and is really 5% or whatever one thinks. Is 5% hyperinflation? Hell is 8% hyperinflation. $5000 gold is likely fantasy land as well. What a joke. He will be most wrong about interest rates and that is where Any Xie who wrote a good column today will be wrong too. REAL interest rates will soon be rising even if nominal rates stay flat or fall.
