US founding fathers condemn current rightwing GOP values: all said religion has no part in US politics, especially intolerant evangelical types trying to dictate their close-minded interpretations.

Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Franklin, Madison, Paine and others.

Know who else said it? Barry Goldwater. Goldwater couldn't stand being moralized to by the Falwell types who have now taken over the GOP.
