Christ's teachings are clear: love everyone (not just rightwingers and prudes), forgive everyone (tolerance not intolerance), blessed are the peacemakers (not the war-makers), etc. The reason this is relevant is rightwing evangelicals continually use Christ and God's name in vain to further their radical, dishonest, unrealistic and sometimes just plain corrupt dogmatic views of America. In fact, not a single prophetic prediction thousands of evengelical fear-mongers have made has ever come true. Not one. Yet they continue to tell us "Jesus told them" or "God told them" they are right.
