Regarding your two points:

First, I am reluctant to try to play the stock up and down. Though selling at 18 and looking for a chance to buy back at 10-15% lower seems on the surface to be doable. I face stiff cap. gains tax every time I sell (my basis is essentially 0), so I tend to hold this stock thru the cycles up and down, preferring to take the tax hit later when it is fairly valued.

On the second point, that the November announcement will drive the stock, I doubt it. Product announcements tend to do little by themselves, unless they translate into a new EPS forecast- which is unlikely. Sustaining the current growth rate, improving COGS, SG&M, and R&D expenses will drive this stock from its current undervalued level, though a little product hype wouldn't hurt.
