To set up a private account at birth and give each child born $1000.
People can add to it.
That money is spent first at retirement. It belongs to them.
Initial cost $3,000,000,000 annually. Not trillions.
It will take the pressure off the troubles SS program at a lower cost and allow people to have some ownership.

While it is a very liberal idea...a conservative one will not be accepted. It is better than doing nothing.
